Hello everyone, and thanks for taking the time to look at this. Right now, I'm sitting in school and I need some additional results for a project I'm working on. It's my final project for my Statistics course, and I'm comparing Hemi's weight and kibble intake to other hedgehogs.

What I need from any hedgehog owners who wish to participate is the weight of your hedgehogs, and the numbers of kibbles they consume each night. For those that have lots of hedgehogs, you don't need to list all of them, but 2 or 3 would be great.

Thank you for your time. :)

Finally! Something my OCD is good for! :hyper:

Okay, Lucy weighs 300 grams as of yesterday, and she is 4 months old.

Every night, I put in her dish:
25 CSFTCLS light (cut in half)
25 Natural Balance Light
30 Blue Buffalo Spa Select Cat Food Light (cutting in half the triangular-shaped ones)

She eats between 60-65 pieces of kibble during a 24-hour period.

The Natural Balance usually only has maybe 1 or 2 left over, the Blue Buffalo will be gone, the remaining pieces will be CSFTCLS.

Does this help at all?

That has got to be the coolest final project EVER!!

Ok, so I don't have info yet (I haven't been counting Razzle's kibbles....I know he eats plenty because I hear him crunching all night long!) But I would be honored to participate if possible. When do you need to have all the info by? I can start tonight with the counting of kibbles.

I'm aiming to get this done by Thursday, so one night will be plenty. I just need some stats to compare Hemi to. :)

Do you need more accurate counts? I can count the remainders more accurately for you if you would like.

Nope, that's perfectly fine. I'm just going to be taking the average of all responses here, and seeing how they correspond to Hemi.

Very cool final project Courtney. Daisy and I would be glad to help. I will collect data tonight and have it for you in the morning. :)

Thank you very much.

Another question, does anyone feel strongly against me citing their usernames and locations in my credits? I like to give credit to anyone who helps me out, and you all are doing me a great favor by participating.

I don't mind at all if you use my username and location. Not a problem.

Okay, so Romeo eats about 50 kibbles within 24 hours and about 40 of those at night. He weighs 160 grams and is a little over 4 months old.

When I read that Lucy is the same age and weighs almost twice as much I thought "Wow, what a tiny boy Romeo is!". :)

Does anyone know if that weight is okay for a hedgie of his age or should I worry about him being too thin? He actually has not gained any weight throughout the last 2 or 3 weeks and I have been wondering already what is going on and why. Is that normal? Are babies supposed to gain weight steadily and does the fact that he has not gained any for some weeks mean that he is done growing?
Sorry for all the questions right here. I guess I should have opened another thread but it's late and I was too lazy!

Well, I hope this helps. Sounds like an interesting project Courtney. Good luck!
