View Full Version : mods--ok i can't post a new thread in anything??!
This is what it says when i try to post......please fix it...... :dunno:
pjay, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
*i have never done anything it says in the 1st one

I think that you don't have enough posts. Your posts are being moderated, (checked that your not a spammer).....I think you have to have 50 posts before you get off moderation. Are you sure that your posts don't show up later? It might just be that they're put on "hold" until a mod can approve them.
i have 34 posts...but i have always been able to post/start thread anywhere, exept these last few days?
the last thread i did start was in the "chins for sale" section and then a few days later it disappered on me....don't know where the heck it went?? now i can't do anything....

Why can't I post a for sale ad in the classifed section?
Chins-n-Quills is an information sharing site first and foremost. We are committed to having our members share what they know with one another.
In the past, we have had many people that seem to join here to sell their supplies and animals to our members and not post their knowledge here for us to share. We will not allow this to continue. Members are now required to post 50 contributing posts before being allowed to post for sale ads in the classified section on CnQ. By contributing, we mean posts that give insight to other members. Posts such as "How cute," "Welcome to the forum," and the like will not be considered as contributing posts and will be deleted and such will not count towards the required 50 posts.
Your post to the classifieds probably slipped through and when it was discovered it was deleted. :)
