I just landed my full-time teaching job after 3 years of subbing! I am super excited and want to incorporate my love for hedgies in my classroom. I always talked about them in my long-term leave replacements and showed the kids pictures of Pringle and Scoops and they love it! I bought the Fisher Price Touch and Cuddle Hedgehog and am making him my classroom mascot. A friend of mine used a teddy bear as a mascot and he had a journal and the kids were able to take him with them on vacations and on long weekends, but they had to write in a journal about what they did together. I thought this was a cute idea. So...I am trying to think of a name for him. I want to stick with my chip/cracker/snack theme. I don't want to name him Pringle or Scoops b\c those name are taken by my precious babies. So...my other choices for whenever I get another hedgie are:
Ruffles
Frito
Tostito
Cheeto
Dorito
Triscuit
Ritz
Gibbles
I didn't really want to use any of those names b\c I want to save them for my other real-life hedgies. But, I would be open to other snack related suggections.
