We are getting a hedgie soon, but we are moving a few months. What kind of cage should I use for it? Would sterilite bins be easiest to move, or would a c&c cage be better? Which takes up the least amount of space but still gives the hedgehog all the room he needs? We kinda need it to be able to fit in whatever space we're going to have in our new home, because it may be a bit smaller than the one we have now. Any comments, suggestions, advice?

Hi, I am scared to death of the c&c cages. I have had experience with hedgies getting stuck in the holes between the grids. I just read in the chin forum about a chin getting stuck. If you use the c&c grids, take a small gage fence wire and wire the out side so when hedgie gets curious he cannot get his head through. If they can get their head through, they will try to get their body thru. I like the sterilite containers. They are easy to wash, move, and you can transport hedgie and house if an emergency arises. Good luck and enjoy your hedgie!
